Legal Metrology Department Conducts Inspection of Packaging Materials

Udaipur, March 6: Under the directions of Sumit Godara, Minister of Food and Civil Supplies, a special campaign is underway in Udaipur to check the purity and standards of packaging materials.

As part of this initiative, a team from the Legal Metrology Department conducted a surprise inspection of Agrawal Oil Industries in Udaipur. During the inspection, the firm was found to possess all the necessary valid licenses for packaging.

The inspection team verified the measurement of the oil used in the packaging, which was found to be fully certified. Special attention was given to the weight accuracy of 500 ml oil packets, which met the prescribed standards. All mandatory declarations and information were clearly displayed on the packets as per regulations.

The inspection was carried out in the presence of Legal Metrology Officers Bhagwati Lal Paliwal and Rajesh Maheshwari, along with other departmental staff including Mohammad Fayyaz Khan.
