Udaipur: A special training and awareness program was organized on Saturday at the administrative building of RNT Medical College to promote the widespread use of the self-enumeration option under the first phase (house listing and housing census) of India’s Census 2027.
During the training, participants were informed that under the first phase of Census 2027, house listing and housing enumeration are being carried out from May 1 to May 15, 2026. Citizens have been provided with the option of self-enumeration during this period. Officials and employees of the medical college and its affiliated offices were instructed to enter or update their family details online through the portal.
RNT Principal and Controller Dr. Rahul Jain stated that the census is a highly important national exercise. He said the self-enumeration option not only simplifies the process and ensures transparency but also enhances data accuracy. All personnel across departments and offices under the college have been directed to update their family information on the portal within the stipulated period (May 1 to May 15). He emphasized that active participation is key to the success of this national mission.
During the program, Assistant Statistical Officer Prakash Chandra, teacher Aslam, and Information Assistant Bhavesh Khatri provided participants with technical guidance. A live demonstration of the portal was presented by Additional Administrative Officer Bharat Sharma and Mana Lal Dangi.
