Udaipur: District Collector Gaurav Agrawal visited the Bhinder region on Friday. During the tour, he inspected various government offices to review administrative arrangements and also visited the Ramsar site at Menar to examine the proposed development roadmap. He reviewed the progress of government schemes and public grievance redressal during a block-level meeting and later interacted directly with villagers through a night chaupal organized at Gram Panchayat Kundai. During the visit, he instructed officials to accelerate development works and ensure prompt resolution of public issues.
The District Collector inspected the Sub-Divisional Office, Tehsil Office, Municipal Council, and Panchayat Samiti premises in Bhinder. He reviewed the functioning of the offices in detail, emphasizing timely disposal of files, transparency, and speedy completion of public-related work. He directed officials to ensure time-bound resolution of pending cases.
Sub-Divisional Officer Ramesh Chandra Baheria, the Development Officer, Tehsildar, and other officials were present during the inspection.
During the Bhinder tour, Collector Gaurav Agrawal visited the renowned . He thoroughly reviewed the development roadmap proposed under the Chief Minister’s Budget Announcement, involving projects worth approximately ₹25 crore.
The Collector discussed project priorities, timelines, and implementation strategies with officials. Keeping in mind Menar’s international recognition, he directed that all development works must strictly adhere to environmental standards. He emphasized that while tourism facilities should be developed, the protection of birds’ natural habitats and biodiversity must remain the highest priority.
During the visit, he also observed migratory and local birds at the site and appreciated the natural beauty of the area.
At the Panchayat Samiti headquarters, the District Collector chaired a block-level meeting with officials. He reviewed complaints registered on the Sampark Portal, inter-departmental issues, and state-level matters, while issuing necessary directions for their resolution.
He also assessed the progress of Panchayati Raj schemes and the implementation status of various budget announcements.
District Collector Gaurav Agrawal organized a night chaupal at Gram Panchayat Kundai and interacted directly with villagers. A large number of residents participated and raised issues related to drinking water, roads, electricity, revenue matters, and social security schemes.
The Collector listened carefully to each grievance and issued immediate instructions to the concerned departmental officials. In several cases, prompt action was ensured on the spot. He also directed officials to ensure time-bound resolution of issues that could not be addressed immediately and submit progress reports accordingly.
The Collector appealed to villagers to remain aware of government welfare schemes and make maximum use of them. He assured the public that the administration remains fully committed to resolving citizens’ problems.
The night chaupal served as an effective platform for communication between the administration and villagers, leading to concrete initiatives toward resolving several public issues.
