Udaipur: Secretary of the Revenue and Colonization Department and District In-charge Secretary T. Ravikant visited Udaipur on Monday. During his visit, he chaired a detailed review meeting of district-level officers from various departments at the mini auditorium of the District Collectorate. He instructed officials to ensure all necessary administrative preparations for the upcoming monsoon season well in advance.

Special Emphasis on Monsoon and Drinking Water Management
The In-charge Secretary directed officials to maintain regular coordination with stakeholders regarding water distribution from various reservoirs in the district and ensure proper drinking water management arrangements. He also sought information regarding complaints of chemically contaminated water in Debari and surrounding areas, directing officials to prepare necessary proposals and send them to higher authorities for resolution of the issue.

Directions to Strengthen Healthcare Infrastructure for Future Needs
During the meeting, the In-charge Secretary sought details from Dr. Ashok Aditya regarding vacant posts of medical officers in the district. He directed authorities to expand and strengthen healthcare infrastructure in both urban and rural areas while considering requirements for the next 25 to 30 years.

Reviewing the situation of seasonal diseases, he noted that residents in several rural and remote areas face difficulties due to delays in receiving timely medical treatment for various reasons. He instructed officials to identify such areas and prepare a special action plan.

Review of Fertilizer and Electricity Supply
Keeping the upcoming agricultural season in mind, the In-charge Secretary instructed officials to ensure advance preparations to tackle any potential shortage of fertilizers. He also reviewed the power supply situation in the district and sought updates on various grid upgradation works.
