District Collector Visits Hiran Magri Satellite Hospital, Reviews Healthcare Services

Udaipur: District Collector Gaurav Agrawal conducted a surprise inspection of Khemraj Katara Government Satellite Hospital, Hiran Magri, on Monday to assess healthcare services, hospital management, and available facilities. During the visit, he inspected various wards, the Outpatient Department (OPD), emergency ward, medicine distribution center, and other hospital units to review the overall functioning of the institution.

The Collector interacted with admitted patients and their attendants to gather feedback regarding treatment, availability of medicines, and other facilities. Emphasizing the need for quality and timely healthcare services, he issued necessary directions to the hospital administration to further improve patient care.

During the inspection, Collector Agrawal also examined the attendance register and biometric attendance system and directed officials to ensure the regular attendance of staff members. He reviewed the availability of doctors and other healthcare personnel and instructed the administration to deploy medical staff as required to meet patient needs.

On the occasion, the District Collector held detailed discussions with Hospital Superintendent Dr. Rahul Jain and Dr. Narendra Deval regarding the hospital’s current requirements and future development plans. He reviewed the possibilities for expanding the hospital campus and directed officials to prepare and submit the necessary proposals to facilitate the institution’s planned growth in line with increasing healthcare demands.

Collector Agrawal informed that a new CT Scan Machine for the Hiran Magri Satellite Hospital has recently been approved during the meeting of the District Mineral Foundation Trust (DMFT) Governing Council. The machine will be installed shortly, enabling patients in the region to access advanced diagnostic facilities locally.

He also inspected cleanliness arrangements, drinking water facilities, seating arrangements, and other basic amenities within the hospital premises. Directions were issued to ensure a cleaner, more comfortable, and patient-friendly environment for visitors and patients alike.
