Farmland Conservation Campaign Conducts Farmer Awareness Training Program in Gangrar

Chittorgarh: Under the “Khet Bachao Abhiyan” (Save Farmland Campaign), the Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK), Chittorgarh, organized a farmer awareness and non-institutional training program in Laxmipura village of Gangrar block. The program focused on creating awareness among farmers regarding soil health conservation, balanced fertilizer use, and Integrated Nutrient Management (INM).

During the program, Dr. Ratan Lal Solanki, Scientist at Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Chittorgarh, encouraged farmers to adopt sustainable agricultural practices, conserve water resources, and maintain soil fertility for long-term agricultural productivity.

Scientists from KVK Chittorgarh provided detailed information on balanced fertilizer application, Integrated Nutrient Management (INM), soil test-based fertilizer recommendations, the judicious use of organic and chemical fertilizers, and advanced farming technologies aimed at enhancing crop productivity. Dr. Solanki elaborated on the importance of balanced nutrient management and its role in improving soil health and ensuring sustainable agricultural growth.

Around 56 farmers actively participated in the program and interacted with agricultural experts to seek solutions to various farming-related queries. The primary objective of the initiative was to connect farmers with scientific agricultural practices, promote soil health conservation, and enhance agricultural productivity.

Among those present during the program were Assistant Agriculture Officer Kan Singh, Agriculture Supervisor Lad Sharma, Panchayat Administrator Nand Lal, and progressive farmer Mangilal Regar, along with several local farmers and stakeholders.
