MPUAT, Udaipur Secures 25th Rank Nationally and 1st Position in Rajasthan in IIRF 2026 Rankings: Dr. Pratap Singh

Udaipur: The International Institutional Ranking Framework (IIRF) 2026 has recently released its rankings of various Central, State, Private, and Deemed Universities across India, including Agricultural and Horticultural Universities. Institutions in the Agricultural and Horticultural Universities category are evaluated based on academic excellence, research achievements, innovation, extension activities, and employability.

In the IIRF 2026 Rankings, Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology (MPUAT), Udaipur, secured the 25th position nationally among Agricultural and Horticultural Universities and emerged as the highest-ranked agricultural university in Rajasthan, securing the 1st position in the state.

Among the other agricultural universities in Rajasthan, Sri Karan Narendra Agriculture University (SKNAU), Jobner secured the 32nd rank, Swami Keshwanand Rajasthan Agricultural University (SKRAU), Bikaner ranked 38th, Agriculture University, Jodhpur ranked 47th, and Agriculture University, Kota ranked 49th.

By achieving the top position among Rajasthan’s agricultural universities in the national rankings, MPUAT has once again reinforced its leadership in agricultural education, research, and extension services within the state.

Expressing his satisfaction over this significant achievement, Vice-Chancellor Dr. Pratap Singh stated that securing the first position among Rajasthan’s agricultural universities in the IIRF 2026 Rankings is a matter of immense pride and satisfaction for the entire university community. He emphasized that this remarkable accomplishment is the result of the dedication, hard work, and team spirit demonstrated by the university’s faculty members, scientists, officers, staff, and students.

Dr. Singh further noted that the ranking serves as national recognition of the university’s academic quality, research excellence, and commitment to the farming community. He credited the success to the collective efforts of the university’s present and former faculty members, scientists, researchers, students, alumni, and farmers, expressing confidence that the university will continue to achieve new milestones of excellence in the future.
