JET, Pre-PG and Ph.D. Entrance Examinations 2026 Conducted Successfully

Udaipur: The State-Level JET, Pre-PG, and Ph.D. Entrance Examinations 2026 for admission to undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programmes in Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Fisheries, Home Science, Dairy and Food Technology colleges across Rajasthan were conducted successfully on Saturday, June 27, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 1:10 PM.

Prof. Manoj Kumar Mahla, City Coordinator for the JET Examination and Dean of the Rajasthan College of Agriculture, Udaipur, informed that a total of 6,528 candidates had registered for the examination, of which 6,166 candidates appeared, recording an impressive 94.45% attendance.

He stated that all examination centres in Udaipur were equipped with well-organized arrangements to ensure the smooth conduct of the examination. A total of 16 examination centres were established, comprising constituent colleges of Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology (MPUAT), Udaipur, as well as government and private educational institutions. Candidates from various districts across Rajasthan appeared for the examination with great enthusiasm.

University Registrar Prof. Pratap Singh conducted surprise inspections of various examination centres. He informed that both general and special flying squads had been constituted to ensure fairness and transparency throughout the examination process. In addition, videography was carried out at all examination centres. The use of mobile phones inside the examination halls was strictly prohibited, and candidates were not permitted to enter the examination halls wearing shoes, as part of the prescribed examination guidelines.

Dr. Ram Hari Meena, Controller of Examinations, stated that the successful, well-organized, and peaceful conduct of the examination was made possible through the dedicated efforts of all coordinators, flying squad members, centre superintendents, deputy centre superintendents, invigilators, and the university's officers and staff. He expressed his gratitude to all officials and personnel involved and confirmed that the examinations concluded peacefully across all centres without any untoward incidents being reported.
