Paras Health Udaipur Expands Orthopedics Department to Strengthen Advanced Musculoskeletal Care in Southern Rajasthan

Udaipur: Paras Health Udaipur has announced the expansion of its Orthopedics Department, aimed at providing advanced, protocol-driven musculoskeletal care to patients in Udaipur and surrounding regions. The department will now function under the leadership of senior orthopedic specialist Dr. C. K. Ameta, who has been appointed as Director and Head of Department.

This expansion marks a significant step towards enhancing specialty care at Paras Health. As part of the new initiative, the hospital has reorganized orthopedic services into a more structured, multidisciplinary, and technology-enabled model. Under Dr. Ameta’s guidance, the existing systems are being upgraded, service capacity is being increased, and treatments—from routine orthopedic conditions to complex surgical cases—are being made more efficient.

The department’s experienced team, including Dr. Rahul Khatra and Dr. Ashish Singhal, continues to provide comprehensive services. This has further standardized care in areas such as joint replacement, trauma management, arthroscopy, sports injury care, and spine surgery.

With more than 35 years of experience, Dr. C. K. Ameta said after taking charge as Director and HOD:
“Through this expansion, we aim to redefine orthopedic care by making it more outcome-oriented and consistent. Our goal is to improve the entire patient journey—from diagnosis to rehabilitation. This will enhance surgical precision, reduce recovery time, and offer a more comfortable treatment experience. We aim to develop Paras Udaipur into a Center of Excellence for orthopedics in Rajasthan, ensuring that no patient—whether a child or an elderly person—needs to travel outside the region for pediatric orthopedic care, hand-ankle-foot surgery, or polytrauma treatment.”
