Lions Club ‘Vikas’ Honoured with Outstanding Club Award at Region Conference

Sri Ganganagar | At the Region-21 conference “Ansh 2026” organized by Lions Club Region-21 at Bihani Auditorium, Lions Club Sri Ganganagar ‘Vikas’ was awarded the prestigious “Outstanding Club Award” for its selfless service activities and excellent organizational performance.

The chief guests of the event were MLA Jaideep Bihani and District Governor MJF Lion Sudhir Vajpayee. The keynote speaker was MJF Lion Nitin Manglik, while Vice District Governors First Lion Ashutosh Vashishth and Second Lion R.S. Madan attended as special guests.

The conference began with flag hoisting and the national anthem by Lion Dr. Pallavi Arora, followed by a two-minute silence in memory of the departed souls. During the event, the life introduction of Region Chairman MJF Lion Shailendra Sahu was presented by Lion Sandeep Aneja, which was widely appreciated by the audience.

Lions Club Sri Ganganagar ‘Vikas’ was praised for its impactful service initiatives, including eye donation awareness campaigns, animal welfare activities, the reflector campaign to prevent cattle accidents, and the “Good Touch–Bad Touch” awareness program for children.

In recognition of its outstanding contribution to Lionism and community service, the club was conferred with the “Outstanding Club Award.” Club member and Region Administrator Lion Vinod Kumar Sethi was also honoured with the title “Energetic Lion of the Region” for his exceptional energy and active involvement.

During the event, Lion Sumer Jain, Trustee of Lions Quest India Foundation and former District Governor MJF, presented a special honor sent by Vice Gate Area Leader Lion Kulbhushan Mittal to former Region Chairman Lion Vinod Kumar Sethi, former Region Chairman Lion Prem Chugh, and Club President Lion Parul Bhatia.

Various dignitaries also felicitated Secretary Lion Ruchika Chugh, Treasurer Lion Natasha Kataria, Project Chairman Dr. Brahm Bhatia, Lion Ashok Kothari, Dr. Sarita Upneja, Lion Balkishan Nagpal, MJF Lion Sandeep Aneja, and Lion Mohit–Pallavi Arora with mementos.

Prominent attendees included senior PDG Lion Sumer Jain, Lion Anjana Jain, industrialist Lion Rajkumar Goel, Lion Mrs. Kaushal Sahu, Region Advisor Lion Vimal Bihani, PRO Lion Ashish Arora, and host club president Lion Amanpreet Singh Kahlo ‘Ninni’.

The event was efficiently conducted by Lion Parul Bhatia and former Region Chairman Lion Prem Chugh. At the conclusion, appreciation was extended to Region Chairman Lion Shailendra Sahu and the host club Lions Club Sri Ganganagar ‘Vishwas’ for successfully organizing the grand and historic conference.

More than 300 office bearers and members from various Lions clubs of Region-21 attended the event.
