Anti-Drug Awareness Program Organized in Bhaumpura

Sri Ganganagar: Under the ongoing Drug-Free Sri Ganganagar Campaign being conducted under the leadership of District Collector Dr. Amit Yadav and Superintendent of Police Harishankar, an anti-drug awareness program was organized in Bhaumpura Panchayat.

During the program, Vikram Jyani from the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment said that addiction does not destroy just one person, but also shatters the dreams, relationships, and future of an entire family.

He stated that substance abuse is gradually destroying the peace of villages and the future of youth. At an age when children should have books, sports, and dreams in their hands, many young people are instead falling into bad company and drug addiction.

Former MLA Balveer Singh Luthra said that addiction has broken families, taken away the peace of mothers, deprived fathers of support, and shattered the dreams of many sisters. He emphasized that if the youth make a strong commitment, villages can change, and if villages change, society as a whole can transform.

At the conclusion of the event, Satish Sharma administered a collective pledge to all youths and villagers to build a drug-free village. Participants expressed confidence that through awareness, unity, and positive thinking, society can be protected from the evil of drug addiction.
