Outstanding Young Swimmers Secure Gold at State-Level Competition*

In the recently concluded 67th State-Level Swimming Competition held in 2023-24, three remarkable young athletes from St. Anthony's School, Kirti Tak, Shaurya Ranawat, and Soumya Khamesra, demonstrated their excellence by clinching gold medals in their respective events. Their outstanding achievements have earned them the privilege of representing their state in the upcoming National Championship.

Kirti Tak, competing in the 19-and-under category, displayed her exceptional talent by dominating the competition and securing four impressive gold medals. Kirti's victories included the 800m Freestyle, 400m Individual Medley, 200m Breaststroke, and the 4x100m Freestyle Relay events. Her extraordinary performance earned her the title of the individual champion.

Shaurya Ranawat emerged as another star of the competition, claiming four gold medals and the championship trophy in the individual category. Shaurya's gold medals were secured in the 400m Freestyle, 200m Individual Medley, 200m Backstroke, and the 4x100m Freestyle Relay.

Meanwhile, young student Soumya Khamesra left her mark with two gold and two silver medals. Soumya secured gold medals in the 400m Freestyle and 400m Individual Medley, while earning silver medals in the 800m Freestyle and the 4x100m Freestyle Relay.

These young swimmers' remarkable achievements have not only brought pride to their school but have also guaranteed their participation in the forthcoming SGFI National Championships.
