MS Sports Federation Indraprastha Strikers Register a 6-Wicket Victory to End Campaign on a High

Udaipur: In a thrilling encounter of the Rockwoods Blazing Strikers Cricket Cup 2026, MS Sports Federation Indraprastha Strikers defeated Wonder Cricket Club Noida Dankaur Yoddhaz by 6 wickets, concluding their campaign with an impressive win.

Batting first, Wonder Cricket Club Noida Dankaur Yoddhaz posted 180 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in their allotted 20 overs. In reply, MS Sports Indraprastha Strikers displayed aggressive batting and successfully chased down the target, scoring 182 runs for the loss of 4 wickets in just 18.1 overs.

The hero of the match was Lakshya Dalal, who smashed a sensational century, scoring 100 runs off just 42 balls, including 8 fours and 8 sixes. Yash Dabas delivered an outstanding all-round performance, taking 3 wickets and contributing an unbeaten 47 runs to guide his team to victory. Yash Bhatia also played a vital knock of 56 runs off 40 balls, hitting 7 fours and 2 sixes. Harshit Sethi claimed 2 wickets for 38 runs in his 3.1 overs.

After the match, Avinash Manhas, currently a member of the Royal Challengers Bengaluru IPL team, stated that the squad would work on areas of improvement and aim for a stronger start in the next season.

During the post-match presentation ceremony, Yash Dabas was awarded the “Player of the Match” title. He received a cheque of ₹5,000 and a special gift from Chief Guest Arun Mandot, President of Jain Social Group International Federation, Mewar Region. Kartik Yadav, Founder of Indian Sports and Fitness Society, and R. Chandra, Secretary of Vigorous Cricket Club, were also present as guests.


Marwar Spartans Enter Semi-Finals Unbeaten

In another match, Spartans Cricket Academy Marwar Spartans defeated L.B. Shastri Aravali Titans by 6 wickets to secure a place in the semi-finals while remaining unbeaten in the tournament. The match was played at Wonder Cement Cricket Academy, Shikarbadi Cricket Ground.

Batting first, L.B. Shastri Aravali Titans were bowled out for 155 runs in 19.3 overs. Bharat Sharma led the scoring with an aggressive 56 runs off 34 balls, including 4 fours and 6 sixes.

For Marwar Spartans, young bowler Gaurav Jajra delivered a remarkable performance, claiming 6 wickets for 32 runs. At just 18 years of age, taking six wickets in a T20 match is a significant achievement. Under the guidance and support of captain Ravi Bishnoi, Gaurav showcased exceptional bowling skills.

Chasing a target of 156 runs, Marwar Spartans displayed a balanced mix of composure and aggression. Shubham Garhwal played a blistering knock of 48 runs off just 18 balls, including 2 fours and 6 sixes, accelerating the chase. The team achieved victory in 16 overs, scoring 158 runs for the loss of 4 wickets. Jonty Sindhu also contributed with the ball, taking 2 wickets for 24 runs in 3 overs.

Gaurav Jajra was named “Player of the Match” and was presented with a cheque of ₹5,000 and a memento by former Ranji Trophy player Dilip Verma. Harshvardhan Jain, Joint Secretary of Udaipur District Cricket Association (UDCA), and BCCI Level-1 Coach Vatsalya Yadav were also present at the ceremony.

District Association Secretary Manoj Chaudhary, Treasurer Mahendra Sharma, Chief Advisor Manish Agrawal, and Director Abraham Kumar were also present during the matches.
