Udaipur: A special exhibition showcasing the valiant heroes of India’s freedom struggle was inaugurated on Monday at the Information Centre, Chetak Circle, Udaipur. The exhibition has been organized by the West Zone Cultural Centre (WZCC) under the Ministry of Culture, Government of India, as part of the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ initiative.

The exhibition was inaugurated by Dr. Ashwin M. Dalvi, Director, West Zone Cultural Centre. It will remain open to the public from August 10 to August 17, 2026.

The exhibition highlights the lives, struggles, sacrifices, and contributions of prominent heroes of India’s freedom movement. Through informative displays, it seeks to familiarise visitors with the courage and dedication of the freedom fighters who played a significant role in India’s journey towards independence.

The primary objective of the exhibition is to create greater awareness, particularly among the youth, about the lives and sacrifices of the great freedom fighters and to strengthen the spirit of patriotism and national pride.

The ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ initiative aims to foster a sense of respect and pride for the National Flag among citizens. The exhibition is an important tribute to the brave sons and daughters of India on the occasion of Independence Day.

The exhibition will remain open to the general public until August 17, 2026.

On the occasion, Deputy Director (Programme) Pawan Amrawat, Programme Executive Hemant Mehta, Rakesh Mehta, Sunil Nimawat, and several distinguished guests from Udaipur were present.
