Success in Life Is Determined by Values and Right Conduct, Not Degrees: Sadhvi Vidyutprabha Shriji

Udaipur: Addressing a spiritual discourse at Vasupujya Temple, Dadabari, Sadhvi Vidyutprabha Shriji, along with Thana-6, said on Tuesday that human life is a rare blessing earned through the virtuous deeds of previous births. She emphasized that this precious life has not been granted merely for worldly pleasures, but for self-realisation, spiritual growth, and the performance of righteous deeds. She added that human beings are capable of achieving what even celestial beings cannot, making every moment of life invaluable.

Sadhvi Shriji said that the true worth of life is not determined by its length but by how it is used. Whether life is utilised wisely, meaningfully, or wasted ultimately shapes a person's character and destiny. Illustrating her point, she explained that if three individuals each possess ₹10, one may spend it on tea, another may offer it at a temple, while the third may use it to buy alcohol. Although all three had the same amount of money, the way they chose to use it reflected different values and resulted in different karmic consequences.

She observed that modern society is increasingly focused on acquiring academic degrees, while one of life's greatest necessities is learning to face challenges with patience and resilience. According to her, the ability to accept both success and failure with equanimity is rarely taught in today's education system. The lack of tolerance, emotional strength, and practical wisdom, she said, often leaves young people vulnerable to mental stress and, in some cases, even drives them towards extreme steps such as suicide.

Referring to the example of Maina Sundari, Sadhvi Shriji said that although she did not possess modern academic qualifications, she shaped an exemplary life through the study and practice of the teachings of the Lord. She stressed that bookish knowledge alone is insufficient and that children should also be nurtured with strong moral values, character, and practical life skills that prepare them to face every challenge with confidence and wisdom.
