Bhilwara to Construct 12 Water Tanks under AMRUT-2 Scheme for Improved Water Supply

Bhilwara: Damodar Agrawal, Bhilwara Lok Sabha candidate and State General Secretary, has secured approval for the construction of 12 water tanks in Bhilwara city under the Central Government's AMRUT-2 scheme. This initiative aims to improve and expand the city's drinking water supply system.

Lok Sabha media in-charge Vinod Jhurrani reported that thanks to the persistent efforts of State General Secretary and Bhilwara Lok Sabha candidate Damodar Agrawal, the benefits of the AMRUT-2 scheme will soon be available to the residents of Bhilwara. Agrawal informed the PHED department's SC and the District Collector via phone about the approval and urged the immediate identification of locations and commencement of construction for these tanks.

Agrawal highlighted that Bhilwara city is currently grappling with severe water supply issues. To address this, 12 tanks will be constructed in various parts of the city, particularly in areas with critical water problems and private colonies where water is not readily accessible. The PHED department's SC has written to the UIT Secretary, requesting the acquisition of land for the 12 tanks.
