### Learning Continuity is Essential for Growth: Shri Gajendra Singh Shekhawat
Geetanjali University hosted its Convocation 2024 ceremony at the Late Narmada Devi Agarwal Auditorium. The event was graced by the presence of Shri Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, Union Minister for Culture and Tourism (Lok Sabha), who served as the Chief Guest. Also in attendance was Mr. J.P. Agarwal, Chairman of Geetanjali Group and Chancellor of Geetanjali University.
 

**Inaugural Procession and Welcome**
 
The ceremony began with an official procession, where Geetanjali Group Chairman Mr. J.P. Agarwal, Vice Chairman Mr. Kapil Agarwal, Executive Director Mr. Ankit Agarwal, Vice Chancellor Dr. S.K. Luhadia, Registrar Mr. Mayur Rawal, along with members of the Board of Management and Academic Council, entered the auditorium. Following the procession, Chancellor Mr. J.P. Agarwal formally inaugurated Convocation 2024.
 
**Ceremony Begins with Traditional Lamp Lighting**
 
The event commenced with the lighting of the lamp and a Saraswati Vandana to invoke blessings. Vice Chairman Mr. Kapil Agarwal extended a warm welcome to the Chief Guest, Shri Gajendra Singh Shekhawat. Geetanjali University's Chancellor, Mr. J.P. Agarwal, was welcomed by Vice Chancellor Dr. S.K. Luhadia.
 

**Inspiring Words by Executive Director Ankit Agarwal**
 
In his welcome address, Executive Director Mr. Ankit Agarwal praised the humble personality of Shri Gajendra Singh Shekhawat. He described Mr. Shekhawat as an inspiring leader, highlighting his continued electoral success in Jodhpur and his rise to key roles in the government, including his leadership of the Jal Jeevan Mission. Mr. Agarwal further emphasized that Mr. Shekhawat's leadership is defined by action rather than titles.
 
Mr. Agarwal also expressed admiration for Chairman Mr. J.P. Agarwal, commending his visionary leadership that has elevated Geetanjali University to a leading position in medical care, education, and research. He extended a special welcome to all the students and their proud parents present at the event.
 
**Degree Distribution and Honors**
 
The ceremony proceeded with the conferral of degrees. Shri Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, alongside Chancellor Mr. J.P. Agarwal, awarded 43 gold medals and degrees to 844 students from the M.B.B.S., Pharmacy, Nursing, Dental, and Physiotherapy programs. Five outstanding graduates were also honored with gold medals for their exceptional achievements.
 
Additionally, Emeritus Professorships were conferred upon former Vice Chancellor Dr. F.S. Mehta and Senior Neurologist Dr. A.A. Saifi in recognition of their invaluable contributions to the field of medicine.
 
**Presentation of the University’s Annual Report**
 
Vice Chancellor Dr. S.K. Luhadia presented the annual report, outlining the research initiatives, sports achievements, staff accomplishments, and state-of-the-art services provided at Geetanjali Hospital.
 
**Chancellor’s Address to Graduates**
 
Chancellor Mr. J.P. Agarwal expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the Chief Guest, Shri Gajendra Singh Shekhawat. Addressing the graduates, he congratulated them on their achievements and extended his best wishes for their bright futures. He emphasized the importance of Artificial Intelligence in the future of healthcare and encouraged students to approach AI with a proactive and positive mindset.
 
Mr. Agarwal shared seven life lessons for a successful future:

5. Stay honest with yourself.

The Chancellor also shared the university and hospital’s accomplishments and expressed his vision to elevate Geetanjali University to international standards.
 
**Graduates Take the Oath**
 
Following the address, Chancellor Mr. J.P. Agarwal administered the graduation oath to all the graduates.
