Actors put in tremendous effort to look right for their roles, often involving heavy jewelry, makeup, and costumes, which can take a long time. Sara Khan, who plays the role of Goddess Krityakayn in the Sun NXT show 'Chhathi Maiya Ki Beti,' recently shared how long it takes her to get ready for her character.
Sara Khan said, "I play the role of Goddess Krityakayn in 'Chhathi Maiya Ki Beti,' so my costumes and jewelry are heavy and beautiful. It takes me only 10 to 15 minutes to get ready because I do my makeup in the car on the way to the set. This makes things easier, as I only have to wear my clothes and jewelry when I arrive. I don’t have the patience to take a long time getting ready, and I don’t understand how others can sit in front of the mirror for so long—I can’t do that."
When asked how she manages to wear heavy jewelry and costumes for extended periods during shoots, she said, "These heavy accessories often leave marks on my body and sometimes cause itching. It can be challenging to manage their weight. However, I've become accustomed to wearing such outfits, so it's not a big deal for me anymore. I’m grateful to the production and Sun NXT team for working hard to make it as comfortable as possible for me."
'Chhathi Maiya Ki Beti' is a touching family drama centered around the story of an orphan Vaishnavi (played by Brinda Dahal), who considers Chhathi Maiya (played by Devoleena Bhattacharjee) her mother. The show celebrates the triumph of good over evil and highlights the devotion and reverence towards Chhathi Maiya, who protects and guides her devotees.
Tune in to 'Chhathi Maiya Ki Beti' every Monday to Saturday at 7:00 PM, only on Sun NXT!
