ADJ Kuldeep Sharma Enlightens Women in Slums About Their Rights in Udaipur

Udaipur: Under the guidance of Mr. Kuldeep Sharma, ADJ and Secretary of the District Legal Services Authority, Udaipur, a program was organized in the Bedla area to raise awareness among women residing in slums about their rights. The event, conducted in collaboration with Para Legal Volunteer Saurabh Gupta, also provided information about various labor schemes and labor cards.

Mr. Kuldeep Sharma, ADJ, and Secretary of the District Legal Services Authority, Udaipur, addressed the women about their rights at the workplace, minimum wage entitlements, and what actions to take if employers refuse wages. Additionally, information was provided about free legal assistance, the Victim Compensation Scheme, and the National Lok Adalat.

He also highlighted the campaign initiated to prevent the misuse of intoxicants and addressed school students in Rajkiya Uchch Madhyamik Vidyalaya Loyara and Chikalwas about the adverse effects of substance abuse.

Mr. Kuldeep Sharma emphasized that the National Lok Adalat event, scheduled to take place from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM in all courts of the Udaipur district, provides an opportunity for amicable resolution of civil cases. He appealed to the general public and litigants to ensure the disposal of their cases in the National Lok Adalat, as it not only promotes fraternity but also exempts court fees in civil matters resolved through this platform.
