Cultural Showcase Highlights Rajasthan, Goa, Maharashtra, South India, Kashmir, and Punjab

Udaipur: The Jain Social Group Ananta organized a special program on achievements and the Golden India theme at Rotary Bajaj Bhavan. The Achievement Program honored Jain brethren engaged in penance and fasting, along with recognizing winners of an online competition held over six months by JSJ Ananta. In a captivating presentation, 83 participants from seven groups showcased the culture of six states, including Rajasthan, Goa, Gujarat, Kashmir, Maharashtra, South India, and Punjab, under the theme of Golden India.

Dr. Shilpa Nahar, President of JSJ Ananta, mentioned that two groups, representing Rajasthan and including members from Goa, Gujarat, Kashmir, Maharashtra, South India, and Punjab, mesmerized the audience with enchanting performances.

The presentation featured the beauty of Kashmir, the flamboyant style of Goa, the cultural heritage of Maharashtra, South India, and Rajasthan, the energetic Gidda dance of Punjab, and the traditional attire of Gujarat. The energetic performances of the 83 participants, aged 35 to 65, enthralled everyone present, compelling even the officials of Ananta to join in the celebration. Arun Mandot and Pramila Jain secured the first position for the Gujarati group in the Mewar region.

JSJ Ananta Secretary Rajesh Sisodiya shared that during the Achievement Program, eight ascetics were felicitated, along with three winners of the Mahavir Bhajan competition, five winners of the Selfie with Daughter contest, and five winners selected through a lottery on Voting Day. The winners of the Jain Quiz were also recognized. The Gujarati group, declared the champions of Golden India, received accolades from JSJ Mevar Marwar Region officials, including Anil Nahar, Mohan Bohra, Arun Khamesara, Shashikant Jain, Lalit Kachhara, Vinod Chaplot, Anil Manavat, Kushal Bafna, among others.
