New Delhi The 44th India International Trade Fair at New Delhi’s Pragati Maidan concluded today with a grand closing ceremony. In a proud moment for the state, the Rajasthan Pavilion was awarded the Gold Medal for excellence. The award was received on behalf of the state by Pavilion Director Mr. Harsh Sharma and Manager Mr. Vinay Sharma from ITPO’s Managing Director Dr. Neeraj Kheirwal.

Speaking at the ceremony, Director Mr. Harsh Sharma expressed that this Gold Medal is a moment of pride for the entire state. He said the recognition will further promote Rajasthan’s handicrafts, art, and culture, and strengthen their reach among national and international visitors.

Mr. Sharma highlighted that the Rajasthan Pavilion was made vibrant and engaging with the strong participation of the Industries Department, Tourism Department, RIICO, BIP, Khadi, Rajeevika, and RUDA. Traditional Rajasthani cuisine and handicraft products emerged as top attractions for buyers. This year, the pavilion also showcased a special cultural integration between Rajasthan and Assam, celebrating the spirit of “Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat.” This initiative left a lasting impression on visitors and helped enhance cultural and trade exchanges between the two states.

He added that live demonstrations by artisans and entrepreneurs were a major highlight. The pavilion also featured a One District One Product wall, and exhibits focusing on the state’s heritage, innovation, and sustainable industrial development. These continuous attractions ensured a strong footfall, ultimately leading the pavilion to clinch the Gold Medal.

The fourteen-day trade fair featured Rajasthan as the Partner State, presenting a unique confluence of art, culture, handicrafts, tourism, and industrial development aligned with the theme “Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat.” The event offered invaluable global exposure to the state’s artisans and small entrepreneurs, opening avenues for long-term trade opportunities.
