Udaipur’s acclaimed academician and internationally published #FlashFiction author, Dr. Paritosh Chandra Dugar, brought glory to India by representing the nation at the prestigious #FlashFictionFestival held at Trinity College, Bristol, UK, from 18th to 20th July 2025.

Organized by #BathFlashFictionAward and #AdHocFiction, this festival is regarded as one of the world’s most celebrated gatherings for flash fiction writers. Dr. Dugar was invited as the sole representative from India, a proud moment for the nation’s literary community and a milestone for #IndianLiterature on the global stage.
During the event, Dr. Dugar mesmerized audiences with readings of his widely acclaimed stories, “My Shirt” and “An Algorithm of Revenge.” These were presented in exclusive sessions curated by celebrated authors Audrey Niven (#UK), Fiona McKay (#Ireland), and Nancy Stohlman (#USA). Both stories earned thunderous applause and deep admiration from an international gathering of writers, editors, and literary enthusiasts.
His presence at the festival not only amplified the voice of Indian storytelling worldwide but also reaffirmed the universal power of flash fiction — a form of sharp, evocative, and borderless narrative art.
