Barmer – Siw MLA Ravindra Singh Bhati has written to various ministers requesting all-round development of the Baba Ramdev Avatar Dham temple complex, located in Ramderiya Gram Panchayat of Siw tehsil.
From his MLA fund, Bhati announced the installation of a tube well in the temple premises. He also assured that next year, the three-kilometer Undu-Maukhab bypass road will be widened. In a letter to the Minister of State for Home, he requested the establishment of a permanent police outpost at Ramderiya Dham to ensure safety for devotees.
Further, he urged Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma and Rajasthan Heritage Authority Chairman Omkar Singh Lakhawat to set up a panorama at Baba Ramdev Dham. In a separate letter to Deputy CM Diya Kumari, he proposed road connectivity between Gadhothal Dhora, Pahadsinghji’s Samadhi, and Ramderiya Nadiya. To Deputy CM Prem Chand Bairwa, he appealed for starting Rajasthan Roadways bus services from Barmer via Nimbla, Ramderiya, Kashmir, and Undu up to Ramdevra, and another route from Barmer via Kavas, Batadu, Ramderiya, Kashmir, and Undu up to Phalsund.
Additionally, Bhati requested the Chief Engineer of the PWD to repair and widen the Baytu–Batadu–Kashmir road. He assured that Avatar Dham will soon be developed as a special tourism destination, gaining global recognition, and pledged his full support for future development.
He also urged the Barmer Collector, Superintendent of Police, and Siw SDM to make proper arrangements for the large influx of devotees.
Earlier, during his visit to the Barmer district headquarters, Baba Ramdev Avatar Dham’s Joint Secretary Omprakash Chandak, Mukesh Soni, Narayandas Rathi, and others welcomed him with garlands, a shawl, and a memento, and extended an invitation to attend the upcoming fair.
