New Delhi : Rajasthan Assembly Speaker Vasudev Devnani arrived in Jaipur early Sunday morning via New Delhi after a nine-day trip to London and the Caribbean nation of Barbados. Speaker Devnani returned home after participating in a Commonwealth Parliamentary Association (CPA) study tour in London and the 68th Commonwealth Parliamentary Association Conference in Barbados. Devnani arrived in Delhi on Saturday night after his stay in Barbados and departed directly for Jaipur from IGI Airport,New Delhi. Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla led the Indian delegation to the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association Conference.

Speaker Vasudev Devnani, accompanied by Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, met with the Indian community at the Indian Embassy in Barbados. Devnani said that Indian diaspora, despite living abroad, remain connected to Indian values, culture, and traditions. This is a matter of pride. During the interaction, Birla and Devnani discussed with the Indian diaspora the rapid development, self-reliance, and global cooperation being achieved in India under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
During his stay in Barbados, Devnani met with members of the Sindhi community there. The meeting was very cordial and emotional. He stated that through their hard work, dedication, and discipline, the Sindhi community in Barbados has not only earned respect in the local community but also upholds the dignity of Indian culture. Devnani said that the community members expressed pride in Indian democracy and India's growing global reputation. This meeting reflects the vibrant spirit of the Indian diaspora, which embodies the idea of "Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam" beyond the country's borders. He expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the Sindhi community in Barbados, saying that their warmth and sense of Indianness have made this visit even more memorable.

During his stay in Barbados, Mr. Vasudev Devnani visited and observed the Kingston Oval Cricket Stadium. Devnani said that the glorious tradition of cricket is felt in every corner of the stadium. The grandeur and natural beauty of the stadium are spectacular and thrilling. He recalled that India emerged victorious in the thrilling match between India and South Africa played at this stadium. Devnani said that remembering the Indian team's brilliant performance on the field is a moment of pride and inspiration for him.
