Jaipur, As a prelude to the forthcoming ‘Honour Run - 2025’ scheduled to be held on 07 December 2025, the Second Promo Run was organised at Gandiv Stadium, Jaipur Military Station on 09 November 2025 under the aegis of Sapta Shakti Command.


The event was conducted with the theme “Bhartiya Sena: Shaurya aur Balidan ki Parampara”, symbolising the valour, sacrifice, and proud traditions of the Indian Army. The run was flagged off by Lieutenant General Manjinder Singh, Army Commander, Sapta Shakti Command and witnessed enthusiastic participation from serving personnel, veterans, families and local citizens.

The Army Commander encouraged the participants by conveying that this run is a salute from the citizens of the nation to the indomitable spirit of our soldiers and veterans. He also interacted with the media and highlighted that this run is symbol of our tribute and honour to our soldiers and veterans who have dedicated their lives for the security of our borders in land, sea and air. He also encouraged the citizens to participate in the main event on 07 Dec and be part of the nation’s profound gratitude for its heroes.

Covering scenic routes around Queens Road and Jaipur Military Station, the run aimed at promoting physical fitness, national integration and a sense of pride in the Armed Forces. The participation of a large number of civilians alongside Army personnel reflected the strong bond between the Indian Army and the people of the nation.

The forthcoming Honour Run 2025 is a tribute to our esteemed veterans for their courage and sacrifice. It is scheduled for 07 December 2025, will feature timed categories of 21 km & 10 km and is expected to attract large-scale participation from across the region. The event underscores the Indian Army’s enduring commitment to fostering fitness, discipline, unity, and respect for the spirit of service and sacrifice of its veterans amongst the general population.

The Second Promo Run concluded on an inspiring note, reaffirming the message of “Run to Honour the Valour and Sacrifice of Veterans” and celebrating the unbreakable bond between the Indian Army and the Citizens.
