New Delhi. The fourteen-day India International Trade Fair (IITF) commenced on Friday at Pragati Maidan, where the Rajasthan Pavilion—designed under the theme “Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat”—was inaugurated as the Partner State. The inauguration was carried out by Shri Alok Gupta, Principal Secretary (Industries) and Chairman & Managing Director, RAJSICO.

During the opening, Shri Gupta visited all stalls within the pavilion and encouraged Rajasthani artists and skilled craftsmen. He stated that this year’s pavilion has been enriched with active participation from the Department of Industries, Department of Tourism, RIICO, BIP, Khadi, Rajeevika, and RUDA. Stalls offering Rajasthan’s traditional cuisine and handicraft products have also been set up. A major highlight of the pavilion will be the cultural and commercial integration of Rajasthan and Assam, symbolizing the spirit of “Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat.” This initiative aims to promote cultural exchange and strengthen business ties between the two states.

Shri Gupta added that the state government’s efforts will provide artisans, craftsmen, entrepreneurs, and investors from Rajasthan an opportunity to enhance their presence at both national and international levels.

The pavilion features special zones for live demonstrations by artisans and entrepreneurs, a dedicated One District One Product (ODOP) wall, and exhibitions highlighting the state’s heritage, innovation, and sustainable industrial progress.

Notably, Rajasthan has been designated as the Partner State at this year’s fair. The Rajasthan Pavilion, spread over nearly 1,000 square metres, has been aesthetically designed by Rajasthan Small Industries Corporation (RSIC). Visitors will experience a rich display of the state’s industrial achievements, cultural diversity, arts, crafts, tourism, and investment potential.

Rajasthan Day on 18 November

As in previous years, Rajasthan Day will be celebrated on 18 November during the trade fair. A vibrant cultural evening will be hosted, featuring performances by renowned Rajasthani artists.
