Kota. The “Child & Youth Convention and Felicitation Ceremony” was successfully organized at the Government Divisional Public Library, Kota, on the occasion of National Library Week and Children’s Day. The event became a meaningful platform where knowledge, creativity, and legal awareness came together to guide and inspire children and youth.


The chief guest for the program was Shri Dharmaraj Meena, Additional District & Sessions Judge. The event was presided over by Dr. Nandkishor Mahawar, senior litterateur. Dr. Anupama Chaturvedi (Associate Professor, Govt. Ayurvedic College), Dr. Jyoti Sharma, Mamata Mehak (senior writer), and renowned ghazal poet Chand Sheri attended as special guests. The event was anchored by K.B. Dixit, and stage coordination was handled by Narendra Sharma.

A Message on the Power of Knowledge

In his opening speech, Dr. Deepak Kumar Srivastava, Divisional Library President, highlighted the significance of National Library Day and Children’s Day. He said:
“A library is not just a building—it is a space where even an ordinary child can discover a life-changing vision. Libraries must become hubs of imagination, curiosity, and character-building.”

Honesh Sharma mesmerized everyone with flute renditions.

Navya Sharma created a portrait of Bhagat Singh using both hands simultaneously.

Mamata Mehak recited a children’s poem, and

Ghazal maestro Chand Sheri stirred patriotic emotions through his poetry.

Health, Discipline & Digital Balance — A Guiding Light for Youth

Dr. Anupama Chaturvedi emphasized the importance of daily routine, health, and pranayama:
“A strong future belongs to those who understand discipline of mind and body. Pranayama is not just breathing exercise—it sharpens stability and inner strength.”

Dr. Jyoti Sharma addressed mental fitness and digital detox:
“The challenge today isn’t the amount of technology we have, but how well we manage ourselves amidst it. Digital fasting helps restore calm, focus, and clarity.”

Law — A Shield for Children and Youth

Chief Guest Dharmaraj Meena provided essential legal awareness related to the rights and protection of children under the Indian Constitution. He discussed Articles 21A, 24, 39E, 39F, 14, 15, and provisions for children's health and nutrition.

He stated:
“Ignorance increases risk, while legal awareness makes a person strong, alert, and responsible. Law isn’t limited to courts—it governs every aspect of life and society.”

Judge Meena, also known for his literary identity “Dharmaraj Bharat”, encouraged youth to remain aware of legal boundaries in academics, friendships, social media, and personal life.

A total of 31 participants were honoured for excellence in arts, sports, literature, and cultural activities. Notable awardees included—
