Jaipur. Rajasthan Assembly Speaker Vasudev Devnani has expressed his humble gratitude for the heartfelt condolences and tributes expressed by all sections of society and relatives on the passing of his wife Indira Devi Devnani.

Devnani wrote in his post on X that the loss of a loved one is the deepest pain in life. The human touch, courage, and compassion shown by all of you at such a time are invaluable to me. Your words, your prayers, and your presence have given me strength.

He wrote in his post that the life of my wife, the late Indira Devi Devnani, was filled with simplicity, values, compassion, and a spirit of service. Her personality possessed an extraordinary power of love, understanding, and devotion to family. Although she is no longer physically present with us today, our entire family is inspired by her thoughts, values, and values.

Over the past 12 days, people from across the state have paid tribute to Indira Devnani by visiting her residence in Sant Kanwar Ram Colony on Varun Sagar Road in Ajmer. On November 14th, Governor Haribhau Bagde visited Ajmer to pay tribute to Indira Devnani. On November 4th, the day of the funeral, Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma also arrived in Ajmer. Most of the state's MPs, MLAs, ministers, political party officials and Media personnel visited Ajmer to offer flowers to the late Indira Devnani's portrait. Union ministers, administrative, police, and Legislative Assembly officials also visited Ajmer to express their condolences. Devnani himself remained in Ajmer continuously.

Devnani expressed his heartfelt gratitude to everyone.

It is noteworthy that the regular condolence meeting at Devnani's Ajmer residence concluded on Sunday. Indira Devnani (74), wife of Ajmer North MLA Vasudev Devnani, passed away on November 3rd. Since then, daily condolence meetings have been held at Devnani's Ajmer residence. On November 15th, the 12th day religious rites were performed at the residence. All the rituals were performed by his son, Mahesh Devnani. Earlier, on November 14th, Mrs. Devnani's ashes were immersed in the Ganges River in Haridwar. After the completion of the religious rituals on November 15th, Devnani resumed his official duties. Devnani also interacted with officials at the Assembly Secretariat. On Sunday, he participated as the chief guest in a regional group singing competition organized by the Bharat Vikas Parishad, North West Region, in Ajmer. According to the planned schedule, Devnani will also visit the Assembly Secretariat in Jaipur on Monday, November 17th. Devnani is scheduled to stay in Jaipur for a few days.
