Udaipur, Rajasthan, December 5, 2025. The United Nations (UN) has announced the observance of World Meditation Day on 21 December 2025, aiming to promote global peace, compassion, and human unity. India, with its ancient heritage of yoga and meditation, has been leading this global initiative for spiritual harmony and inner balance.

In alignment with this purpose, the Heartfulness Institute, Udaipur has launched a city-wide mass registration campaign involving educational institutions, universities, schools, corporate groups, social organizations, and the general public. The campaign is intended to bring together the maximum number of participants to create a collective wave of peace and positive consciousness.

On this occasion, millions of practitioners across 160 countries will join an online global meditation session under the guidance of Daaji – Shri Kamlesh D. Patel, Global Guide, Heartfulness Meditation Institute. The theme of the program, “Peace, Compassion & Unity,” reflects the shared vision of the United Nations and India’s timeless spiritual philosophy.

Dr. Rakesh Dashora, Coordinator, Heartfulness Institute Udaipur, stated that World Meditation Day is not merely an event but a collective commitment to universal human unity. He noted that India’s meditation tradition has the ability to guide the world, and Udaipur is prepared to participate actively. The global event is free and open to all.

Media Coordinator Dr. Subodh Sharma informed that participants can register easily through the link: hfn.link/meditation by submitting their name and mobile number. A joining link will be shared on WhatsApp to attend the session via YouTube from home. Certificates of participation will be issued to all registered attendees.

Heartfulness Zone Coordinator Madhu Mehta shared that the construction of the new Heartfulness Ashram at Chitrakoot Nagar, Udaipur, is in progress and will soon serve as a center for human welfare. Meanwhile, weekly collective satsang and meditation sessions are being conducted every Sunday at 9 AM at her residence, 48, New Polo Ground, Saheli Nagar.
