Training to be provided in agarbatti, papad, spices, pickles, soap and other household products: Akash Bagdi Efforts to make women self-reliant across all districts of the division

Udaipur: Under its Nari Vaibhav campaign, Shri Ekling Nath Rashtriya Seva Organization is set to launch the Naira Home Industry on January 2, with the objective of connecting a large number of women to sustainable livelihoods. Through this initiative, thousands of women from urban and rural areas will be made self-reliant by providing employment opportunities.

Founder President of the organization, Akash Bagdi, while addressing the media on Friday, said that after considering demands raised by various women’s groups, the organization decided to initiate the Naira Home Industry project. Under this scheme, needy women will be provided expert training in manufacturing agarbatti (incense sticks), papad, spices, pickles, soap and other household products. After completion of training, women will be able to work from their homes, and their products will be marketed under the Naira Home Industry brand.

Bagdi informed that agreements have been signed with certain companies that will handle the marketing and sale of these products. Initially launched in Udaipur, the project will gradually be expanded to Rajsamand, Dungarpur, Banswara and Chittorgarh districts. Women interested in working on a larger scale will also be assisted in obtaining loans from the District Industries Centre for machinery and other resources.

He further added that under the Nari Vaibhav campaign, the organization is already running training camps in tailoring, beauty parlour services and mehendi, with the third batch currently in progress.

National General Secretary Nirmal Kumar Pandit stated that through the Naira Home Industry, the organization aims to make a large number of women self-reliant. Only genuinely needy women will be selected so that their empowerment helps in supporting their families. He said the organization has already empowered many women through the Nari Vaibhav initiative.

On this occasion, newly appointed Udaipur District President Netranjali Menaria, Vice President Roma Jain, Rural District President Neha Vaishnav (Bhopalsagar branch), Sub-Secretary Pooja Sharma, and Secretary Indira Prajapat (Kurabad Shishvi branch) were felicitated with traditional scarves by Founder President Akash Bagdi and National General Secretary Nirmal Kumar Pandit.

Addressing the gathering, Netranjali Menaria said the organization is making continuous efforts to empower women, due to which many women have joined the organization as members. Neha Vaishnav said a comprehensive plan has been prepared to expand the organization’s activities in rural areas as well. A large number of women and young girls from urban and rural regions were present at the program.

Mass Marriage Ceremony in April
Bagdi also announced that in view of the Naira Home Industry project, the free mass marriage ceremony for all communities, earlier scheduled on Basant Panchami, has now been rescheduled to April 20 on the occasion of Akshaya Tritiya.
