Jaipur. In view of the current situation prevailing in West Asia and the Gulf region, under the guidance of the Rajasthan Government, the Rajasthan Foundation (National and International Non-Resident Rajasthani Affairs Department – DORA) has activated a comprehensive and multi-layered support system.

The international chapters of the Rajasthan Foundation along with other migrant associations have immediately come forward to assist all migrants. The Dubai Chapter in the UAE, along with the Saudi Arabia Chapters, as well as Rajasthani associations in Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, and several other countries, are actively working at their respective levels to ensure the safety, guidance, and necessary support for migrant Rajasthanis.

Whether they are migrants who went for tourism, those who went for jobs or business, or groups who went to attend weddings and religious events — wherever people have been affected due to war-like conditions and restrictions in airspace, the entire migrant community is continuously striving to arrange accommodation, food, local assistance, guidance, safe return, and other essential facilities.

For travelers stranded in Dubai, arrangements for food etc. have been made with the support of the Rajasthan Foundation Dubai Chapter. The coordinated efforts of the Rajasthan Foundation Dubai Chapter successfully provided assistance in the safe return to India of approximately 100 Rajasthani citizens from Bangalore who had gone to attend an event in Abu Dhabi.

In this sequence, organizations such as JITO (Jain International Trade Organization) and Marwari Yuva Manch have also activated their international branches to provide accommodation, food, counseling, and emergency assistance. Local Rajasthani forums and community organizations in various countries have demonstrated remarkable spirit of service and unity.

Information regarding alternative travel routes, visa procedures, and the control room established by the Government of India is also being regularly shared to prevent any confusion and ensure timely guidance for migrants.

Dr. Manisha Arora, Commissioner of Rajasthan Foundation, stated that in this hour of crisis, the global Rajasthani community has set an inspiring example of unity, responsibility, and service spirit. She mentioned that the Rajasthan Foundation is in continuous coordination with all relevant chapters and missions of the Government of India, and the safety of every migrant Rajasthani is the state’s highest priority. She appealed to all to trust only information from official sources and to contact the authorized helpline or the nearest chapter in case of need.

The state government is taking all necessary steps for the safety, coordination, and assistance of migrant Rajasthanis.
