Udaipur, A meeting of the Udaipur City Women’s Congress Committee was held on Saturday under the leadership of District President Tarika Bhanupratap Singh. Numerous women activists associated with the Congress participated in the meeting. The discussion focused on strengthening the organization, expanding women’s participation, and implementing the vision of the Women’s Congress at the grassroots level.

The meeting was graced by State Women’s Congress General Secretary Mrs. Hitanshi Sharma as the chief guest, State Secretary Mrs. Nadira Bano as a special guest, and Rural Women’s Congress President Mrs. Bhagwati Dangi.

City President Tarika Bhanupratap Singh announced that a strong executive committee will be formed soon and emphasized that the Women’s Congress must move forward unitedly, including women from all sections of society.

Mrs. Hitanshi Sharma highlighted the importance of women’s participation in the upcoming municipal elections and stressed the need to activate the organization at the booth level.

Focus on Education, Health, and Self-Employment for Women
District President Tarika Bhanupratap Singh stated that the meeting discussed various initiatives, including connecting women with Indian cultural activities, promoting education and health, and linking women to self-employment opportunities to make them economically empowered. He emphasized that the Congress will work across all sectors to empower women.

All office bearers and members pledged to strengthen the Women’s Congress, ensuring it emerges as a powerful organization advocating for women’s rights at all levels.

Notable participants included Praveen Kausar, Madhu Salavi, Mahima Chug, Tarannum, Yasmin Bano, Hina Khan, Kavita Singh, Neha Kumawat, Monika Gurjar, Shalini Bhatnagar, Manju Menaria, Surbhi Khatri, Varsha Bhawsar, Kaniska Shrimali, Chanda Chaudhary, and Harshit Prajapat.

The oath-taking ceremony for the new executive committee is also proposed to be held soon.
