Udaipur:On the recommendation of Member of Parliament Dr. Mannalal Rawat, nine critically ill patients from the Udaipur Lok Sabha constituency have received financial assistance amounting to ₹27 lakh from the Prime Minister’s Relief Fund. Each patient was granted ₹3 lakh, enabling them to undergo life-saving liver and kidney transplant treatments at leading hospitals in Gujarat.
Dr. Rawat has consistently shown sensitivity towards seriously ill patients who approach him during public hearings and personal interactions. In certified cases, he forwards recommendations to the Prime Minister’s Office to secure assistance from the PM Relief Fund. So far, more than nine such cases have been approved, providing crucial support to patients in need.
Among the beneficiaries, Rahul Sanadhya of Udaipur and Rupalal Patel of Jaitana village received aid for liver transplants at the Institute of Kidney Disease and Research Centre, Ahmedabad. Several others, including patients from Udaipur and nearby areas, were granted assistance for kidney transplants at hospitals in Nadiad, Gandhinagar, and Ahmedabad, including Apollo Hospital and Sterling Hospital.
Expressing gratitude, the families of the beneficiaries thanked MP Dr. Mannalal Rawat, stating that his compassionate efforts have helped many needy patients receive timely and life-saving medical treatment.
