Udaipur:A tragic incident in Kachhba village of Gogunda block, Udaipur district, has left nine innocent children in a state of distress after their mother was allegedly murdered by her husband, who has since absconded. Following the incident, the children were rendered helpless, facing an uncertain future.

Of the nine children, eight are currently living with their maternal grandmother, while one child is missing along with the accused father, raising serious concern. With the loss of their mother and the absence of their father, the children’s lives have been severely disrupted. Their grandmother, who is caring for them, is financially weak and unable to meet even basic needs such as food and essentials.

Upon receiving information from the Child Welfare Committee (CWC), Rahda Foundation, led by founder Archana Singh Charan, took immediate humanitarian action. Representatives of the foundation visited the village, assessed the situation, and provided essential ration supplies to ensure that the children do not suffer from hunger during this critical period.

The foundation has also shared all relevant details and facts related to the children with the CWC and the Department of Child Rights, enabling further legal and protective measures for their safety, care, and rehabilitation.

Archana Singh Charan stated that this incident is not just a crime but a painful reality for children whose childhood has been shattered overnight. Rahda Foundation has appealed to society and the administration to come forward collectively and ensure proper rehabilitation and a secure future for the affected children.
