Udaipur: The Jain Jagruti Mahila Branch organized a grand Gangaur festival at Madhushree Banquet Hall, located on 100 Feet Road, with great enthusiasm and joy.
Patron Pinky Mandawat shared that the event was आयोजित with the शुभ भावना of bringing happiness through the Gangaur festival. Members of the organization participated in traditional Rajasthani attire, beautifully showcasing the rich cultural heritage of Rajasthan. The entire venue was adorned with vibrant saffron and leheriya colors, creating a festive atmosphere.
President Kusum Bhansali informed that the program began with the worship of Goddess Gangaur, followed by a series of cultural performances. The energetic members presented captivating dances on folk songs, mesmerizing the audience. The short dance performances reflected the participants’ enthusiasm and preparation, earning them attractive prizes from the judges.
General Secretary Beena Maru highlighted that the most special and emotional part of the celebration was when members honored their husbands by reciting beautiful traditional verses (chhand). The melodious recitations filled the atmosphere with love and positivity.
During the event, members also enjoyed a lively round of “Rangarang Housie,” adding fun, laughter, and excitement to the celebration.
Participants included Sushila Mehta, Vandana Jain, Aarti Singhvi, Naina Jain, Sanjeet Kothari, Sunita Lodha, Sunita Shrimali, Asha Lata Singhvi, and many others who contributed to the performances.
This successful आयोजन by the Jain Jagruti Mahila Branch not only upheld the traditions of Gangaur but also strengthened the bonds of love, unity, and friendship among its members.
