UDAIPUR, A renovated Reverse Osmosis (RO) water purification plant was formally inaugurated at the Government Higher Secondary School in Dabok, executed through the support of the Shrimati Sarla Singhvi Charitable Society. In addition to renovating the long-defunct RO unit, the society has committed to providing three years of free maintenance to ensure uninterrupted access to safe drinking water for students. The inauguration took place in the presence of Chief Guest Dr. Shyam S. Singhvi, a philanthropist and alumnus of the school. Special guests attending the event included Ravindra Srimali (former BJP District President, Udaipur City), Dr. Jinendra Shastri (State Convener, BJP Disaster Relief Cell, Rajasthan), Samyam Singhvi, Arvind Jhagrawat, Virendra Bolya, Iqbal Khan, and Anil Sharma. The Shrimati Sarla Singhvi Charitable Society operates three primary civic initiatives: blood donation drives, educational support, and installing RO plants in government schools. During the event: Dr. Shyam S. Singhvi shared experiences from his student days at the school and cited former U.S. President John F. Kennedy's concept of "Think Together" to encourage leadership and collaborative thinking among students. Dr. Jinendra Shastri emphasized cultural pride and suggested adopting local greetings such as "Jai Mewar." Ravindra Srimali commended the Singhvi family's philanthropic contributions and referenced verses from the Ramcharitmanas regarding personal values. Samyam Singhvi provided an overview of the society's ongoing community service projects. The ceremony was chaired by School Principal Sonal Heda, who expressed gratitude to Dr. Shyam S. Singhvi and thanked Arvind Jhagrawat for ongoing contributions to school development. Lecturer Kunal Didwania conducted the proceedings.
