Jaipur : Sapta Shakti Command, on behalf of the Indian Army, gratefully acknowledges a contribution of ₹ 50 lakh by True Hope Foundation to the Army Central Welfare Fund, extended in support of Indian Army personnel and families of Nepali origin affected by the recent floods in Nepal. The contribution will be utilised towards ex-gratia assistance for affected serving Soldiers, Ex-Servicemen and their dependents of Nepali origin who have rendered service to the Indian Army, reaffirming the institution's commitment to the welfare of its personnel and their families in times of distress. True Hope Foundation has been engaged in humanitarian work across Disaster Relief, Medical Assistance, Education, Disability Support, Animal Welfare and Humanitarian Aid, working in partnership with NGOs, hospitals, volunteers and social organisations to extend timely assistance to communities in need. The Indian Army places on record its appreciation for this gesture of solidarity by True Hope Foundation, its partners and donors. Such acts of compassion strengthen the enduring bonds between the Indian Army and civil society, and reflect the abiding ties of friendship between India and Nepal.
