Banswara: After more than a decade, the vacant post of Senior Teacher of Mathematics at Government Senior Secondary School, Amarthun, has finally been filled. Rajesh Tirgar, a resident of Chanduji Ka Gadha, joined the school with his family, bringing great excitement among students, parents, teachers and villagers.

On learning about his appointment, members of the SMC, SDMC, PTA, student parliament and local representatives gathered at the school and warmly welcomed Tirgar. His parents became emotional and expressed their gratitude to the Rajasthan Government for providing their son an opportunity to begin his government service.

Gram Panchayat Administrator Rajendra Kumar Charpota said efforts were also being made to fill five other vacant posts, including Agriculture Science Lecturer, Accountant, Assistant Accountant, Level-I Teacher and Vice-Principal.

He added that efforts were underway for 10 new classrooms, a girls’ hostel and additional posts according to student enrolment.

The newly appointed teacher was felicitated with a turban, shawl, uparna, garland and coconut.
