Udaipur: A photography workshop was organised at Pacific College, Chitrakoot Nagar, on Saturday by Pacific College in association with Business Circle International (BCI) and the Monalisa Camera Club. The workshop focused on photography, visual storytelling, branding and the growing commercial applications of photography.

Photojournalist Rakesh Sharma Rajdeep Conducts Special Session

Renowned photojournalist and photographer Rakesh Sharma Rajdeep conducted a special session during the workshop. He introduced participants to various aspects of photography, including photographic techniques, framing, composition and effective storytelling through images.

Drawing from his professional experience and practical examples, Rajdeep explained how photographers can create more impactful and meaningful visual narratives.

Dr Sachin Gupta Explores the Journey from Click to Customer

Dr Sachin Gupta, Assistant Professor, Department of Business Administration, Mohanlal Sukhadia University, conducted a special session titled “From Click to Customer.”

He discussed how visual content can be transformed into brand identity, customer trust and business opportunities. He explained that effective visual communication can play an important role in strengthening a brand’s identity and building meaningful connections with customers.

Photography Emerging as a Communication and Business Tool

Mukesh Madhavani, Founder and Chairman, BCI, said photography is no longer limited to the art of capturing images but has emerged as an important medium for communication, branding and business. He said workshops of this nature help young people and creative professionals understand emerging opportunities in the field.

Dr Rimjhim Gupta of Pacific College said the workshop provided participants with an opportunity to understand both the creative and practical dimensions of photography. She noted that photography is now connected not only with art and expression but also with visual communication, branding and career opportunities.

Tamanna Suhalka, President, Monalisa Photography Club, said technical knowledge must be complemented by creative thinking in photography. She added that such workshops provide participants with an opportunity to understand their abilities and further develop their skills.

The workshop was attended by photojournalist Rakesh Sharma Rajdeep, Dr Rimjhim Gupta, Dr Sachin Gupta, Sanjeev Patwa, President, BCI Utsav, Dharmveer Deval, Sajal Jain, Ganpat Salvi, Tamanna Suhalka, President, Monalisa Photography Club, Deepa Sabla, Sadhna Talesra and Anupama Lodha, along with other participants.
