Udaipur: The Global Health and Wellness Festival (GHWF) Udaipur 2026, dedicated to health awareness, medical consultation and public welfare, will be held on October 3 and 4. The poster for the two-day festival was unveiled at Paras Health, Udaipur, on Wednesday.
Himmat Singh of the Foundation said the festival is being organised as part of an initiative by Global Aarogya Healthcare Foundation, with Just Health and Wellness, in association with Business Circle International (BCI). It will be the sixth season of the festival series and the second edition in Udaipur. This year, the event has been expanded into a two-day programme.
October 3: Healthcare Awards and Networking
BCI Founder Mukesh Madhavani said the festival will begin on October 3 at Sterling Aravalli with the Top 50 Healthcare Awards and a pre-networking programme.
Doctors and healthcare professionals who have made significant contributions to Rajasthan’s healthcare and health insurance sectors will be felicitated. In addition, 20 leading business houses that have contributed significantly to the state’s economic and social development will also receive special recognition.
October 4: Major Healthcare Platform for the Public
Paras Health Facility Director Anubhav Sukhwani said October 4 will be the main public day of the festival. Specialists from various super-speciality departments will be available under one roof to provide free expert medical consultations to residents.
A range of health screenings will also be conducted free of cost. Following medical consultations, selected individuals requiring further evaluation will be provided free coupons for advanced diagnostic tests such as TMT, USG, 2D Echo and MRI, subject to medical advice and eligibility.
Special Focus on Breast Cancer Awareness
Himmat Singh said a special Breast Cancer Awareness Drive will be organised with a focus on women’s health. The initiative will educate women about early detection, prevention and the importance of regular health check-ups. Mammography screening will also be made available as part of the campaign.
Five Panel Discussions on Healthy Living
The festival will feature five panel discussions covering a range of important health-related topics. Specialist doctors and prominent speakers will discuss health issues relevant to the general public and explain, in simple language, the importance of prevention, timely screening and healthy lifestyle practices along with appropriate treatment.
According to the organisers, the objective of GHWF is not merely to organise an event, but to strengthen the approach of “awareness and prevention before treatment after illness.” The festival will bring doctors, hospitals, the health insurance sector, the business community and the general public together on a common platform to promote a healthier and more informed society.
The festival is being organised by Just Health and Wellness and Business Circle International, with support from Paras Healthcare.
Those present at the poster unveiling included Rahul Pachauri, Associate Zonal Head; S.N. Arya, Head Care; Mayur Vyas; I Dooh Media Marketing Consultant Manish Menaria; Dr. Vaishali Bodele, General Manager, Sales and Marketing, Paras Health Udaipur; and Sanjeev Patwa of BCI Utsav, among others.
