### VC  Prof. Sarangdevot to Speak at International Symposium at Cambridge University

 

Udaipur, July 31: Colonel Prof. S.S. Sarangdevot, Vice Chancellor of Janardan Rai Nagar Rajasthan Vidyapeeth Deemed to be University, will participate as a keynote speaker at the upcoming International ‘Global Research Conference’ organized by Cambridge University, UK. The conference will be held from August 8-11. 

The symposium will bring together prominent educators, policymakers, and experts from around the world to discuss and seek solutions for various significant global issues. The aim is to identify contemporary research and strategies that can be implemented for the betterment of the world. 

Prof. Sarangdevot will deliver the keynote address focusing on critical issues related to sustainable development. He will highlight how the concept of sustainable development originates from ancient Indian principles. In India, the term sustainable is associated with the words eternal and auspicious development. The idea is to integrate benefits without causing harm to nature, which we inherit and have the responsibility to preserve for future generations. What we take from nature is a debt to our children that must be transferred responsibly.

Prof. Sarangdevot emphasized that the world is eager to embrace Indian knowledge traditions, which can help India regain its status as a global leader. According to Indian scriptures, sustainable development is eternal and involves continuous, innovative creation without destruction, degradation, or displacement. 

His address will cover crucial topics such as sustainable development in higher education and research, climate change and environmental degradation, strategies for sustainable economic growth, and the role of international cooperation in achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Prof. Sarangdevot has previously made significant contributions through various initiatives and research projects aimed at promoting sustainable development. His participation in this symposium highlights his knowledge, expertise, and commitment on a global platform.
