Rotary Club Uday to Focus on Sustainable and Community Projects*

Udaipur: The first meeting of Rotary Club Uday for the year 2024-25 was held today at a private hotel, where discussions revolved around upcoming service projects and sustainable initiatives.

Assistant District Governor Bhavya Garg graced the meeting as the chief guest.

Club President Ashok Linjara highlighted that in the upcoming year 2024, alongside the club's ongoing service projects, priority would be given to community-oriented initiatives aimed at public welfare. Additionally, some service activities would be carried out continuously over the coming years.

Member Nidhi revealed plans for workshops on drawing competitions for children and honoring doctors and chartered accountants on Doctors and CA Day. Charter President Shalini Bhatnagar introduced new arrangements for organizing the Rotary meeting. Past President Rajesh Chugh stressed the importance of increasing membership in the club by encouraging each member to bring in a new member.

The club will celebrate festivals with great enthusiasm.

Former President Dr. Ritu Vaishnav briefed the members about their responsibilities in the board of directors. The strong structure of the club, built over the past 119 years, should be followed by all clubs.

Members were urged to undertake service work for Rotary protocols and society.

Assistant District Governor Bhavya Garg emphasized focusing on sustainable projects for the club. Projects should be aimed at benefiting society more. Secretary Karan Garg informed about the preparations made by the club so far and concluded with a vote of thanks.

Present at the meeting were Dr. Sarita Sunariya, Nidhi Garg, President-elect Raghav Bhatnagar, Dinesh Sharma, Puneet Gakhreja, Dinesh Gothwal, and Navdeep Singh Nayyar.
