Mr. Harsh Pati Singhania elected Chairman of ICC Paris

Udaipur : Shri Harsh Pati Singhania, Chairman & Managing Director of JK Paper Ltd and Director of JK Organisation, has been elected as the new Chair of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), Paris at ICC’s World Council meeting held in Paris. This makes him only the 4th Indian business leader to hold this prestigious global position in ICC’s century-long history, underscoring the rarity and prestige of this honour.

The ICC Chairmanship is one of the highest honours in international business as ICC represents over 45 million companies across 170+ countries, making it the world’s largest business organization that plays a critical role in shaping discussions at UN, WTO, G20, G7, and BRICS. His appointment comes at an opportune moment as India emerges as the fastest growing major economy and an influential voice of the Global South, highlighting India’s growing influence in global trade and policymaking. Mr. Singhania’s elevation would give India stronger representation in global economic governance. His vision is anchored in three strategic imperatives:rebuilding trust in global commerce, shaping rules for the new economy—including digital trade, AI, and sustainability—and strengthening the voice of business in key multilateral forums.
