###“Beat the Fatigue” Awareness Program on Anemia Prevention Conducted for Nursing Students

Udaipur: An awareness program titled “Beat the Fatigue” focusing on the prevention and management of anemia was organized for GNM (General Nursing and Midwifery) students. The initiative aimed to spread awareness about anemia among young nursing students and encourage them to adopt a healthier lifestyle.

The session featured expert guidance from specialists and dieticians from Geetanjali Hospital. Eminent speakers included gynecologist Dr. Nalini Sharma, MD Physician Dr. Ravi Mangaliya, and Chief Dietitian Mrs. Indu Saini.


 

 

 

 

The program was chaired by Principal Prof. Dr. Alok Rawat (College of Nursing), Principal Prof. Dr. Dinesh Kumar Sharma (School of Nursing), and Prof. Dr. Jayesh Patidar (Academic Officer). The event was successfully conducted under the guidance and leadership of Prof. Dr. Vijayamma Ajmera, Dean, Geetanjali College of Nursing.

Addressing the students, Dr. Nalini Sharma explained the causes, symptoms, complications, and preventive measures related to anemia among women and adolescent girls. Dr. Ravi Mangaliya highlighted the importance of timely diagnosis, screening, and treatment of anemia. Meanwhile, Mrs. Indu Saini shared valuable insights on iron-rich diets, balanced nutrition, and healthy lifestyle habits essential for preventing anemia.

The students participated enthusiastically and actively engaged in the interactive question-and-answer session, where experts addressed their concerns and queries.

The program concluded with a vote of thanks to all guests, faculty members, and participants for making the awareness initiative meaningful and impactful.
