Mumbai: Itti Si Khushi on Sony SAB revolves around the life of Anvita, played by Sumbul Touqeer Khan. Anvita is a young woman who shoulders the responsibility of her family despite difficult circumstances. The story is now entering one of the most emotional and challenging phases of her life. Always fighting for her siblings and family, Anvita now finds herself in a legal battle that could change their future forever. After deciding to divorce Sanjay, played by Rishi Saxena, she must now fight for the custody of her siblings.
In the upcoming episodes, the drama intensifies when the court grants Sanjay temporary custody of the children for two weeks. Considering Anvita’s financial instability and the fragile situation at home, the court makes this decision. With Sanjay’s stable job and comparatively secure circumstances, the court believes that, for now, the children staying with him would be a better option.
However, the court gives Anvita three weeks to prove that she can provide a safe and stable life for her siblings. To regain custody, she must fulfil three important conditions: demonstrating financial stability by depositing a fixed amount in her siblings’ names, maintaining a peaceful and stable home environment despite Hetal’s bipolar condition—played by Neha SK Mehta—and Suhas’s health challenges, portrayed by Varun Badola, and creating a secure environment for the children.
During this time, the siblings are allowed to meet Anvita if they wish, but the pressure of fulfilling these conditions weighs heavily on her. While coping with the emotional pain of divorce, Anvita must now also prove that she can protect and care for her family.
Speaking about the emotionally intense scenes, Sumbul Touqeer Khan shared,
“Filming these scenes was very emotional because Anvita’s siblings mean everything to her. While performing, I often felt how terrified she is of losing them, even though she tries to appear strong on the outside. While dealing with the pain of divorce, she also has to prove that her home is safe and stable. This mix of helplessness and strength made these scenes very special for me. It’s not just about a court case—it’s about the struggle to keep a family together.”
