The 10-day Flower Exhibition, organized by the District Administration and the Udaipur Development Authority (UDA) with co-sponsorship from Hindustan Zinc, was inaugurated at Fateh Sagar Lake promenade by the Governor of Punjab and Administrator of Chandigarh, Shri Gulab Chand Kataria. With the opening of the exhibition, the Fateh Sagar promenade came alive with the fragrance and vibrant colors of rare and diverse varieties of flowers.
On the second day as well, the exhibition continued to draw large crowds of city residents along with domestic and international tourists. Alongside the floral displays, products of Hindustan Zinc and items made by Sakhi women under the company’s CSR initiatives are receiving widespread appreciation from visitors.
Hindustan Zinc has set up a stall showcasing its products EcoZen and items produced by Sakhi groups, including brands such as Daichi, Upaya and Goyam Dairy. The stall features a wide range of products including pickles, namkeen, spices, pulses, garments, fabric-based utility items, Ajrakh printed fabrics and accessories, as well as Goyam dairy products.
In addition, live demonstrations of traditional block printing and the preparation of traditional bilona ghee have also emerged as key attractions for visitors, adding a rich cultural and experiential dimension to the exhibition.
