Family Witnessed the Noble Act with Tearful Eyes Full of Gratitude

#### Fifth Eye Donation in a Week Conducted in Baran City

Baran, The continuous eye donation awareness campaign run by Shine India Foundation in the Kota Division has started showing remarkable results — not only in urban areas but also across rural regions. Due to the increasing number of donations, Kota is now being recognized as the City of Eye Donors.

In the Hadoti region, as soon as doctors confirm a death, grieving families promptly contact Shine India Foundation to ensure that the eyes of the deceased are donated without delay.

Recently, one such noble initiative took place in Baran city, where a bereaved family contacted the foundation within just half an hour of the passing of their loved one. Late at night on Wednesday, Kausalya Devi Agarwal, a resident of Uttam Colony, Baran, passed away. Inspired by her spirit of service, her sons Vishal and Vipin Agarwal decided to donate her eyes.

Upon receiving the information, Shine India Foundation city coordinator Hitesh Khandelwal immediately contacted Dr. Kulwant Gaur in Kota to carry out the donation procedure. During the process, several family members — including Kausalya Devi’s five daughters, Vimla, Krishna, Rekha, Indra, and Antima — were present, witnessing the noble act with emotion and reverence.

Foundation founder Dr. Kulwant Gaur informed that this was the fourth eye donation from Baran in a week and the fifth in the month, reflecting the growing awareness and positive mindset among the people towards eye donation.

After completing the procedure, Dr. Gaur shared detailed information about eye donation with the family members. With eyes filled with satisfaction and peace, everyone listened to the significance of the sacred contribution made by the late Kausalya Devi Agarwal.
