Udaipur to Bloom with Devotion, Mehendi & Spiritual Harmony: Grand "Bhakti Mehendi Sanjhi Mahotsav" on July 12

Udaipur: A spectacular blend of faith, culture, and devotion is set to transform Udaipur on Sunday, July 12, as Sakal Jain Shri Sangh Mewar organizes the grand "Bhakti Mehendi Sanjhi Mahotsav" at Aayad Jain Tirth. The event is being held to mark the 36th Palak Sangh pilgrimage from Udaipur to Shri Nakoda Tirth, promising an unforgettable spiritual experience for devotees of Parshva and Bhairav.

Chief Convener Hastimal Lodha said the Mahotsav is expected to become a landmark event in Udaipur's religious calendar, celebrating devotion through music, rituals, and community participation.

The festival will be blessed by the divine presence of revered Jain saints Muni Shri Sumatichandrasagarji M.S. and Muni Shri Sheetalchandrasagarji M.S., disciples of the eminent Jain Acharyas Pujya Acharya Anandrishisurishwarji M.S. and Pujya Acharya Naychandrasagarsurishwarji M.S.

A Day Filled with Devotion

According to Manohar Talesara, the celebrations will begin with a Sanjhi (Chaubisi) Mehendi Ceremony for women at 2:00 PM. From 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, devotees will receive Bhairav Prasadi, followed by the grand Mahabhakti and Maha Aarti at 7:00 PM.

Hitesh Porwal and Gajendra Singh, coordinators of the Chaturmas celebrations, announced that the grand Chaturmas Pravesh will take place on July 15, 2026, under the aegis of the Mahavir Sadhana Evam Swadhyay Samiti, Ambamata, Udaipur.

According to D.C. Jain and Rajesh Nalwaya, the sacred ceremony will be held in the divine presence of Acharya Anandsagar Surishwarji M.S., Acharya Naychandrasagar Surishwarji M.S., along with Muni Shri Sumatichandrasagarji M.S. and Muni Shri Sheetalchandrasagarji M.S.

Historic Nakoda Pilgrimage with Over 1,008 Devotees

Chintan Lodha announced that, for the first time, Udaipur will witness an 18-day collective Uvasaggaharam Chhari Palit Mahasangh to the revered Nakoda Mahatirth, with participation from more than 1,008 devotees.

The auspicious inauguration of the pilgrimage will be held on July 15 at 10:15 AM at Mahavir Sadhana Evam Swadhyay Samiti, Ambamata, in the holy presence of revered Jain monks.
