Udaipur: The dream of establishing a grand film city in the City of Lakes is finally becoming a reality. Rising amid the serene natural beauty of Dangiyon ki Hundar village in Badgaon Tehsil, Udaipur’s most modern Film City & Luxury Stay — The Click City — is now in its final phase of construction.

The much-awaited film city will be inaugurated in the last week of January 2026, with several renowned Bollywood celebrities expected to grace the grand opening ceremony.

Four Partners Behind the Vision

The Click City is being developed by a strong team — Sumit Lekhari, Jyoti Durgawat, Rajasthan’s renowned Line Producer Mukesh Madhwani, and Preena Drabla.
Mukesh Madhwani has been advocating for a dedicated film city in Udaipur for several years, and this project marks the fulfillment of that long-standing vision.

According to Mukesh Madhwani, production teams have often struggled in Udaipur due to the limited availability of equipment, makeup rooms, lighting, camera units, and accommodation.

Sumit Lekhari added that the project aims to create employment for local artists and rural youth, especially in areas such as set design, lighting, technical teams, makeup, and support services.

Bollywood Celebrities to Attend the Grand Opening in January

Line Producer Mukesh Madhwani confirmed that the final work is progressing rapidly and the grand opening is scheduled for end of January 2026.
Several well-known Bollywood celebrities and industry personalities are expected to attend the inaugural ceremony.
