Udaipur: A meeting with representatives of various political parties was held on Wednesday regarding the special intensive revision of the voter list in Udaipur district. During the meeting, Divisional Commissioner Pragya Kewalramani briefed the party representatives in detail about the enumeration forms, physical mapping process, and voter list verification and revision procedures.
Commissioner Kewalramani stated that the special intensive revision is being carried out with complete transparency and impartiality. Addressing the queries and concerns of the political representatives, she informed that as of October 27, 2025, there are 19,62,340 registered voters in the district. Out of these, 66.2% of voters have already been physically mapped by matching their details from the 2002 and 2025 electoral rolls.
This means that over two-thirds of voters will not be required to submit any documents during the Special Intensive Revision (SIR). She added that this figure is expected to increase further in the coming days. During the SIR process, Booth Level Officers (BLOs) will visit households to distribute and collect enumeration forms. Voters will not need to attach any documents with the filled forms.
Kewalramani also shared that 90.11% of voters above 40 years of age have been successfully mapped using the BLO app, while 33.83% of voters below 40 years have been mapped so far.
Representatives from all political parties agreed that every eligible citizen’s name should be included in the voter list, and names of ineligible voters should be removed to ensure accuracy.
